I apologize, I’m French and English is not my natural language (and I am 70 !) !
I ‘work’ in a fablab. We have bought a Wazer deskpro but it is not yet in function. I want to train with WAM. So I created an account; I made a small piece with Inkscape (with object to path !). I can read the .svg file in WAM; I can move it and scale it. But the Material list is empty.
What have I missed ?

I had the same issue. It seems the answer might be that you have a public account? When you signed up, did you enter a software #?

in fact the machine is in a fablab. It is not working nowadays because they forgot to install water pipes !!!
I wanted to begin to ‘draw’ simple things on my own PC to learn how to do it but I have no machine number.
I hope you understand beause english is not my natural language ! I am in France.
