I have a question regarding my Christmas tree cuts. I cut a sheet of 8 trees on 3 mm glass. Some cuts were irregular and the top either broke off or the hole wasn’t centered like the others. My cutting bed is becoming worn. Would this cause breakage if too worn. You comments on the irregular cuts and breakage is appreciated.
I have the same problem. I think its because the bed is in bad shape, the glass breaks. Works great with a new bed. No tab for the little hole. Make sure the glass is fastened good to the bed, so it doesn’t move. and I put the tab by the trunk at the bottom of the tree. also make sure on inside cuts, the inside is rounded. Trial and error. Once I get a good cut I make sure to save that file.
Thank you for your response. I used a centerline cut in WAM so I will change it to an inside line cut. When you say “make sure on the inside cuts, the inside is rounded”, the roundness doesn’t change in inkscape. Is this what you’re referring to? I am new to this and I appreciate any help!
I made the changes that you suggested above except for the inside rounded. It was a success! I think that the cutting bed was a major issue.
Looks Good! Its so nice when things work!
