Ok I figured it out.
I followed the instruction manual carefully when setting up my newly purchased Wazer Desktop.
The first cut left something to be desired.
I took apart the abrasive hopper and emptied it completely and vacuumed it.
At the bottom of the hopper I found the culprit. A small piece of plastic in the outlet hole.
At no point did the manual mention that it had to be removed before cutting was possible.
