Continuous materials

Can Wazer be used to cut designs into continuous materials such as rolled sheet metal? If so what would be the maximum allowable width?

No. The cut bed is 12” x 18” and is intended for single pieces of sheet metal or similar.

If you are expecting for the cutting head to more or less run continuously while feeding a roll of sheet metal through it, you would have to severely modify the machine. It would be easier to buy a different piece of equipment.

I was thinking to make successive cuts in the usual way, and to move the material manually between cuts. Of course I would need an accurate registration process, which I guess would be external to the machine.

This would require openings at opposite sides of the machine, and for the cutting bed to be at the right height to accept the continuous material as it is moved through the machin.
