How many times have you been able to cut a file (repeating the same cut) before you have to change the cutting bed?
we’ve run roughly 25 hours on a full bed both sides, but lots of quick repeat jobs eat it up fast. the 2nd bed stuck on it is warped and not as good and needed my holddown jig and to stick to ~6x6 pieces of glass to avoid cracking. I think bigger jobs with slower cut speeds in less repeated spots would make them last longer.
I cut a lot of narrow strips of glass, and they need to be fully supported, otherwise they break.
The cutting bed quickly becomes unusable.
I am therefore considering investing in a galvanized cutting bed and filling the grid with 3D-printed rods, so that I can easily screw the glass pieces in place.
