Differences between KLV and GP high-pressure pumps

Quick note, since I just got off the phone with support, because I couldn’t tell which pump I had, and therefore which oil to buy.

In the high-pressure pump oil change instructions, it notes that there are different types of oil for each pump type:

It may be difficult to users to tell the difference and determine which pump they have.

GP Pump

  • Has no holes in the main pulley wheel
  • Has no WAZER branding
  • Is older model sourced from General Pump
  • Takes 15oz (440ml) of included Pump oil, or a Non-Detergent SAE 30 or ISO 100 oil
  • OEM oil is General Pump AW Series 100

KLV Pump

  • Has holes in the main pulley wheel
  • Has large WAZER branding cast into the main body
  • Is new model designed by WAZER (Casting markings seem to indicate this might be a Botuo pump)
  • Takes 10oz (300ml) of included KLV pump oil, or 15W-40 engine oil
  • Oem oil is Francool APCD15W-40 Engine Oil

Hope this is helps anyone looking for information on changing their high-pressure pump oil.
