Chicago, IL area Wazer for sale $5000

$5000 - Lightly used Wazer. Moving out of state and downsizing my studio and was looking to sell my Wazer. I am in the west burbs of Chicago right of I88 a few exits down from I355.

Its only on its 3rd cut bed. I have one brand new cut bed and the one that’s in it has the bottom that’s unused.

I bought it used and have only cut art glass for stained glass projects with it. I picked it up from a company that used it for prototyping aluminum chassis but the jet was not precise enough for their applications due to the chamfer the cut left. They used it on and off for a few years and went through two full cut beds and a pallet of garnet cutting thin aluminum.

Unit works perfect for cutting art glass and tile but I wont have room for it in my new studio in TN as I wont have access to water supply & drain.

I have only run about 2 - 5 Gal buckets of Garnet through it in all. The glass I cut uses very little garnet and I generally use the rough setting so it moves pretty quickly.

Send me a note if interested. Mike

are you selling this because it is a POS with horrible software and firmware and you can’t stand using it. that is my position. would love to sell it

Hi,

I am interested.

How many hours on machine?

120volt or 220volt

Thanks

~40 to 45. I have only used it maybe 5 or 6 since obtaining it. I have a new oil change kit for the compressor that I have yet to perform. (50 hours)

2x 120 VAC needed. One 20A and one 15A is what I have it connected to here.

I have one brand new cut bed too. I’m in the west burbs of Chicago, IL.

Hi

I am in Wisconsin.

My budget is $2500 cash.

Good morning, I hope all is well.

I hadn’t heard a response back for my offer.

I may be able to afford some additional funds.

I am wondering, was the previous installation utilizing incoming water, filtration and water softening as per WAZER recommended installation instructions ?

Is the current installation, utilizing incoming water, filtration, and softening as per WAZER recommended install installation instructions?

Do you have any maintenance records?

Can you share a Picture of the machine ID tag that includes date of build, etc.

Does the machine have any WAZER technical support history?

If so, what type of technical support was required for this machine?

What is the machine a WAZER standup or a WAZER starter, Bundle package?

How much HP media comes with the machine?

What was the previous owner cutting on the machine?

Thanks

I am wondering, was the previous installation utilizing incoming water, filtration and water softening as per WAZER recommended installation instructions ? Yes - I have a commercial sized softener on the house. Its always maintained and tested with strips.

Is the current installation, utilizing incoming water, filtration, and softening as per WAZER recommended install installation instructions? Yes. Both softener and filter is installed. Ill include the filter with a new cartridge if I do end up selling it.

Do you have any maintenance records? Only things I have done is a little silicone on the bottom screws and software updates. Unit did have an occasional drip so I put some silicone on the exterior over the screws. The design could be better.

Can you share a Picture of the machine ID tag that includes date of build, etc. Sure. Attaching photos.

Does the machine have any WAZER technical support history? No. I am an engineer and pretty hands on. The documentation has been fantastic. Only issue was trying to turn it on with no water in it. There is a limit switch that wont even let you boot it unless filled. I was checking the S/W version when I first got it.

If so, what type of technical support was required for this machine? An email to Tech asking why it would not power on. They replied “did you fill it”. I felt like an idiot.

What is the machine a WAZER standup or a WAZER starter, Bundle package? It was a bundle. I have one brand new bed that has never been used. Its on its third cutting bed.

How much HP media comes with the machine? I only bought 2X 5 Gal buckets. I have maybe 2 gal left and whatever is in the machine. Almost none but its stocked in the farm stores & welding shops here.

What was the previous owner cutting on the machine? Aerospace company making aluminum components. About the same type that comes with the machine. The tolerances didn’t meet their specs. They did use it for occasional prototypes before moving to a larger unit.

Thanks

Hi,

I currently have 2, version 1.5 machines.

I discussed the version 1 machine, specifically the differences versus the 1.5 with Wazer technical

Wazer has told me that my machines have 7 significant upgrades from the version 1.

See message from Wazer:

Hello Reggie,

Thanks for reaching out to the WAZER Support team regarding your question! The WAZER V1.5 contains a few upgrades around the high pressure pump and the main unit. V1.5 will have the following:

1. High Pressure Gauge on the left side of the pump.
2. Additional safety devices around the door trim
3. E-stop button
4. Improved plumbing around the tank and venturi blocks
5. Right side cavity tray to protect electronics from plumbing
6. SS anti-rotation bars around the cut bed support
7. Software/firmware upgrades

In the transition between V1.0 and 1.5 a firmware update was pushed that keeps record of total cut time. If this was not installed/updated early on the total cut time is unknown and could be inaccurate.

Based on age of the machine and lack of compatibility with our existing machines I would be offering less than my budget offer.

I hope you find a buyer, if not reach out and we can renegotiate.

I have also one for sale like new if anyone wants thanks
Can send all details

Is this still available?
